WebDec 28, 2024 · With Tinkercad, just delete the parts you don't need; save a new file and you can get all the parts. Be sure to use a Hole shape to remove parts. Then you can re-import them into the same file. It's a little bit more work than simply un-grouping, but I don't think the .stl format supports grouping, so that information is lost. With the FREE tool you can reduce the face count – or number of vertices of the 3D model.
