Theory of the magneto mechanical effect
Webb21 nov. 2013 · For simplicity, the linear theory is commonly utilized for the stress/strain evaluation of the superconducting coils arising from electromagnetic forces. The aim of the present work is to formulate the equations governing the magneto-mechanical characteristics of a superconducting solenoid system. Webb9 apr. 2024 · It is based on four laws, derived from experimental observations, and make no assumptions about the microscopic character of the system. It is therefore, very powerful and general. We will introduce these laws, consider their consequences and apply them to the considered systems.
