Earthenware pottery started being produced in Gouda in the 17th century. WebThe Netherlands During the 17th century, red stoneware was made by Ary de Milde of Delft and others in imitation of the wares of I-hsing (see below China: Ming dynasty ). Creamware was manufactured at several places at the end of the 18th century. Most Dutch pottery of the period, however, is tin glazed.
