Cannot handle managed/back reference
WebNov 26, 2024 · Digging into BeanDeserializerBase it looks like when checking that the back reference type matches the reference type it is not checking the contained type of the collection on the back reference side. WebJan 22, 2016 · This would not seem to be directly related to issues with identity mapping ( @JsonIdentityInfo) or managed/back references. Given the exception, I assume problem occurs during serialization, when trying write out JSON.
